What I Got For Boxing Day [2014]

Now this may come as a little bit of a shock to some of you but 2014 was actually the first year in which I’d ever been Boxing Day shopping. Every other year has seen me and my immediate family travel to my grandparent’s house (on my mum’s side of the family) and spend the day with them, but certain circumstances changed last year and I suddenly had the entire day free. I almost didn’t know what to do with myself. I was a little bit hesitant to go shopping at all, as I was both anxious about the overwhelming amount of shoppers fighting for the newest and best bargain as well as being stressed over not finding what I had in mind to buy. I didn’t set myself specific shopping goals (as I knew I’d most likely be let down or cower at the price of the more expensive things) but I was nevertheless glad, at the end of the day, to have had spent the day in the city. My boyfriend and I met up with two other friends and we all ventured out into the crowded and clustered inner-city shopping centres to find whatever sales we could.

I actually managed to grab quite a fair amount of things, and didn’t spend a heart-breaking amount of money either. I bought a range of stuff from clothes to books, shoes, make-up, and even jewellery.

Note: Some of the prices listed beside each item may not currently be correct, as most items were on sale or came as a part of a 2 for 1 type of deal. Also, some may be incorrect because of my memory lapse. Specifically though, the Lush Christmas gift sets are now out of stock and are not sold anymore so I apologise that I can’t provide you guys with any information about them (i.e. price, what came in each gift set and their sale price)
